In response to the WL 'It's Not My Fault' Drabble Challenge.
“It wasn’t my fault!” TJ was pacing. Although wanting to stomp, he reconsidered. No need for added retribution to his already sore backside.
“You’ve known for a while the gauge was broken and promised to get it fixed.”
“Not enough time.” It was a lame excuse, but TJ wasn’t about to confess his neglect in taking extra water.
“Humph!” Glen grunted. “So your time saving techniques are to blame for the motor seizing up?”
A rhetorical question, right? Short silence followed by a soft, “What do I do about a car now?”
“You do without!”
TJ promptly stomped his foot.
